Research and Planning - This is England Lol Story
After our first draft of our trailer we have watched this video to look at the different shot types and camera angles we could use to improve it. We are thinking of using the shot where the camera shows the feet while the person walks as in our trailer we have a shot of the character walking up to the flats.
We are also thinking of using a shot of the camera following the person from behind so you can see the back of their head and over the shoulder. We are thinking of using different angles for the same scene for example different angles of the flats for a shorter period of time. We could also put the camera near the floor to get a low angle shot.

Research and Planning - Filming
Yesterday we went to High Rise flats to start filming. Unfortunately the only time we were all free was later on when it was dark and we wanted to really film in the day but as it was the only time we were all free we had to make do with it. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't film outside for very long.

Research and Planning - filming
Due to busy schedules it has been difficult to start filming as we are never all free at the same time. We have had trouble finding a time best to suit everyone. We are hoping our actors will be free this week so we can film as we now have a camera. If not we will have to film people at different times.
Research and Planning - Location Research
We are filming at 3 locations:
- Haughton Green Fields
- High Rise Flats
- Harriets House
For Haughton green fields we will need to be careful that we don't get people in our clips as we will be filming in a public place. This is because it could ruin the trailer and we don't have their permission to film them. This is also the case for the Flats however we will have to make sure we are allowed to film there as it is property.
At Harriet's house we shouldn't have issues as it isn't a public place however we will have to be careful of noise such as TV and her family being around.
